Stephens County wreck kills passenger, critically injures driver
Lisa Gail Wertz, 48, of Toccoa was killed when the grey Kia Forte in which she was riding was struck while turning left from Ga. 17 at Whispering Pines Road. The driver of that vehicle, Kathy Loggins of Toccoa, remains in the intensive care unit in very serious condition in Greenville, S.C., according to Trooper 1st Class Vance Henry of Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa.
