A log truck flips over and crashes into an Archbold van

A log truck flipped over in Thomasville after crashing into an Archbold Memorial Hospital van.  Thomasville police say truck driver Eugene Kearney, ran a red light at the intersection of the Highway 319 bypass and Cairo Road and hit the van. The van spun out of control and the log truck flipped over. Surprisingly, no one was seriously injured. Kearney was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to maintain lane. Captain Maurice Holmes said, "If those logs were not properly secured as they were, they could have scattered some of everywhere..vehicles traveling in on coming directions it could've been catastrophic in this type of situation."
