Minor injuries reported after a pickup traveling in the wrong direction collides with a car on South King Street in Honolulu, Hawaii

A wrong-way driver is being blamed for a crash in downtown Honolulu. The accident happened just before 3:45 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of South King and Bethel Streets. Honolulu police say the pickup truck was going Ewa-bound on South King when it crashed into a sedan driving in the right direction into town. The impact sent the sedan crashing into a pillar. No serious injuries were reported. The driver of the truck was arrested at the scene.
