90-year-old man critically injured, transported to hospital, after he is struck by a car, driven by a 60-year-old man, while in a crosswalk on Kaneohe Bay Drive in Kaneohe.

An elderly man is fighting for his life after he was hit by a car in Kaneohe. The accident occurred at 9:40 a.m. on Kaneohe Bay Dr. fronting Castle High School. The 90-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to Emergency Medical Services. Honolulu police is still investigating the crash but initial reports indicate the man was in a crosswalk when he was hit. The car involved was a two-door Volvo reportedly driven by a man in his 60s. UPDATE: The victim in this accident later died of his injuries. 04/25/14.
