Meridian man killed in Friday crash identified
As of Monday morning, no charges have been filed.
Kurt Krieger of Meridian was killed after he was struck by a car in Meridian just before 5 p.m. Friday. Krieger died at the scene from blunt force trauma after he was struck by a 42-year-old woman driving a 2005 Ford Taurus at the intersection of Meridian and Lake Hazel roads. He was not wearing a helmet. The car driver was not injured. Ada County officials say Krieger was hit while he attempted to cross at an intersection with no stop sign.
