A rollover crash west of Mountain Home sent five children and two adults to the hospital Saturday afternoon shortly after 5 p.m

A rollover crash west of Mountain Home sent five children and two adults to the hospital Saturday afternoon shortly after 5 p.m.

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office reports that a 2004 Ford Excursion was traveling eastbound when for unknown reasons the driver of the vehicle lost control and veered off the right shoulder. The Excursion rolled several times before stopping on it's roof.

One adult passenger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected. The other adult passenger had to be extricated.

Two passengers were flown by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, the other five were taken by ground ambulance. According to sheriff's deputies none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

The investigation is still on-going.
