Jesus Ortiz, 17, died in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 39 and Snake River High School in Blackfoot, Idaho

Bingham County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Gary Yancey said a man was driving a GMC pickup truck south on 900 West. Ortiz was the passenger. The driver allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection and hit another pickup truck, which was driving east on the highway.
