Nancy Colon, 33, killed in wreck with motorhome at Pleasantview Road and Prairie Avenue near Hauser, Idaho

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office was investigating a fatal crash near Hauser, Idaho Monday night. Officials said they were called to Pleasantview Road and Prairie Avenue around 5:30 p.m. for a multiple car, injury crash that needed extrication. Deputies said a car was headed east on Prairie Avenue. At the stop sign, officials said the driver failed to yield to a southbound car. Deputies said the southbound car swerved left to avoid a crash but the driver lost control of his vehicle and slid sideways into the northbound lane of traffic and hit the front of a large motorhome.
