ISP: Three dead in Highway 95 collision

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho -- An early Saturday morning crash on Highway 95 near Hayden left three people dead, according to Idaho State Police. An ISP release stated Ryan Turner, 27, was traveling northbound in a Chevy Silverado when he collided with a Dodge Caravan killing the three passengers. The two cars collided head-on at around 4:00 a.m., according to ISP. The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for four hours due to the crash and investigation. Matthew-Michael T Baroni, 33, Madilyn Baroni, 8, and Molly Baroni, 6, were travelling in the Dodge Caravan. ISP said none of them were wearing seat belts.

Community mourns loss of father, daughters in weekend crash

A community is still reeling after the loss of a father and his two young daughters, who were killed in a head-on collision early Saturday morning. In the meantime, Meghan Baroni, the wife and mother of the people killed, is left grieving the loss of her family. The school district had grief counselors on hand to help students and staff deal with the loss. She rotates between five schools, one of which is Spokane Montessori where her daughters were students. McCartney says she believes he's with the Heavenly father and those girls are happy.
