Five injured in fiery crash east of Moscow

Lewiston resident Lee Skow, 32, was driving a late model Nissan pickup truck south on the highway between Kendrick and Deary when he lost control and swerved onto the shoulder just after 4 p.m., according to a news release. He steered back across the highway, driving over an embankment and rolling the truck, the ISP said. The vehicle caught fire, but all five occupants were able to exit the truck safely.

Mark Channell, 54, of Lewiston, was listed in fair condition Monday afternoon. Another passenger was not admitted to the hospital.

All five passengers were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lewiston. Skow and passenger Annette Tindle, 29 of Clarkston, Washington, were treated and released. The other passengers have not been named by the Idaho State Patrol.
