Idaho State Police investigate deadly pedestrian hit and run

FILER, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian hit and run that happened Saturday morning in front of Franklin United Oil in Filer. KTVB-TV reports (http://is.gd/XMWNDI ) an unknown vehicle was driving west on U.S. Highway 30 when it struck a pedestrian around 5:55 a.m. The pedestrian, 78-year-old Ronald Miller, died at the scene. Highway 30 was blocked for almost 3 hours after the crash. The state police say they are following several leads and request help from the public if they have any information about the crash.

FILER - Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly hit and run crash that happened on Saturday morning in front the Franklin United Oil in Filer. ISP says an unknown vehicle was driving west on U.S. Highway 30 when it struck a pedestrian. If you have any information that may help locate and identify the vehicle or the driver, ISP is urging you to contact police. They say the vehicle may possibly be a light colored 4 door sedan. The pedestrian, Ronald Miller, 78, died at the scene.
