One killed, one injured in small plane crash near Raccoon Lake
According to the Centralia Fire Protection District, a small, single-engine plane crashed into a swimming pool around 12:43 p.m. Saturday of a home in the 1500 block of Woods Lane, less than a mile from the Centralia Municipal Airport.

Centralia police said Cheryl Monserat-LaGreca of Lacon, Illinois, died on impact Saturday when the Beechcraft A35 aircraft crashed less than a mile from the Centralia Municipal Airport. She was the plane’s only passenger.
