Two Teens severely injured in ATV and Car Crash near Oakley
Macon County authorities say the Taurus was preparing to pass the ATV when the ATV turned into the path of the vehicle at the intersection. Upon colliding, both rides of the ATV were thrown from it. Both riders were transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, and authorities say their status and identity are unknown at this time.
Teens involved in ATV Crash making steady recovery
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office tells WAND News that while the boys are still in the hospital, they are expected to be released soon.
One of the boys had a broken wrist along with head injuries. The other underwent surgery for internal issues from the crash.
