A 52-year-old man is dead after a fatal accident Saturday night.
The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office tells us Alan Brumfield of Thayer was driving in the 7100-block of Thayer Road just before 5:30 p.m. That's when he drove into a field and the car he was in overturned.

The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office says he was killed at the scene and that he was not wearing a seat belt.
