2 airlifted to hospital in critical condition after McHenry crash; Route 120 closed
Knop said the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. when a newer model gray Chevrolet Corvette that was traveling eastbound in the 2000 block of Route 120 left the road for unknown reasons.
The car hit a tree in the ditch on the south side of the road, trapping both the male driver and a female passenger in the vehicle.

Cainen Reimann, of McHenry, was airlifted to Centrgra Hospital-McHenry, where he was pronounced dead at 7:44 p.m., the McHenry County coroner's office said. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine cause of death.
His wife was seriously injured in the crash, police said. She was airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was still in the hospital Tuesday.
