Police identify man killed crossing Golf Road in Niles
Richard S. Stern of Niles was walking to the Meijer grocery store on the 9000 block of West Golf Road in Niles when he was struck at about 6 a.m. in the center lane by a Dodge Durango that had been traveling westbound through a green traffic light, according to Niles police Sgt. Robert Tornabene.
