Cops: Man suffers 'medical distress,' dies after causing 5-vehicle crash
John Grygorcewicz, 55, of Niles, was pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge at 3:05 p.m. following the accident, police said in a news release Friday evening. According to a police, the black 2011 Chevorlet Tahoe Grygorcewicz was driving jumped the curb on the 7200 block of Dempster Avenue about 2:12 p.m. The Tahoe then rear-ended an eastbound semitrailer and crashed into a minivan slowing down to stop at a red light at Harlem Avenue.
