The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the deceased as Christian Luna, of the 2400 block of South California Avenue in Chicago. Palos Park police said he died at the scene.
Two others injured in the crash are in serious condition, police said. The victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.
