One killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 23 and Perry Road in DeKalb County, Illinois

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says that a Blue Saturn Aura was heading west on Perry Road and failed to stop at the sign at Route 23 and was hit by a southbound Ford F450 truck. A passenger in the Saturn was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was flown to a Rockford hospital and a juvenile passenger was flown to a Chicago Hospital.
