According to a news release from the Illinois State Police, Laura Schmersahl was driving a Toyota Camry on West Offner Road about 9:55 a.m. Monday toward the Route 52 intersection and then turned in front of a Ford Focus driven a 55-year-old Manteno man traveling north on Route 52.
