3 hurt in separate crashes near Campton Township

Then early Saturday, the driver of a 1992 Lincoln Town car hit a semitrailer truck blocking Beith Road about 6:40 a.m. as it was backing into a driveway west of Route 47 near Virgil Township, police said. The driver was flown from the crash to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with potentially life-threatening injuries, police said. Authorities are withholding the driver's identification until family can be reached.
