Bicyclist killed in Waukegan hit-and-run crash

Waukegan police are investigating a hit and run crash that killed a bicyclist on eastbound Washington Street at Martin Avenue, authorities said in a news release Thursday. Authorities have released a picture of the suspect vehicle taken from a security camera in the area of the crash. The suspect vehicle, described as a two-door green sedan, was last seen traveling east on Washington Street, police said. If anyone has information on this crash, they are asked to call the Waukegan Police Department's Traffic Division at (847) 599-2631. Police say Jack Henderson, 54, of the 300 block of Ash Street in Waukegan, was hit by a vehicle at 8 a.m.
