Equipment falls off truck causing deadly crash
It happened at approximately 7:14 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Police say a Ford F750 truck was traveling west on US-34 pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with equipment.
As the truck traveled under the overpass at Lincoln Park Drive, the equipment hit the underside of the overpass, knocking it off the trailer onto US-34.

The Andersons were both from Oquawka. The driver of the Ford truck, a 64 year-old from Mexico, Missouri, suffered minor injuries.
