A man and woman were airlifted to a Peoria hospital with serious injuries after their motorcycle crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 74 Sunday.

The crash happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015 when the motorcycle left the roadway between Avenue of the Cities and the John Deere Expressway, according to a statement from Det. Scott Williams with the Moline Police.

Stephen “Stevie” Carlson, 36, and Tami Jo Carlson, 34, were both taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to a hospital in Peoria.
A man and a woman were riding on a motorcycle together on Interstate 74 when their motorcycle crashed into the guardrail of the interstate. They were airlifted to a hospital to recieve treatment. The incident is still under investigation.
