A press release from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department issued Wednesday said Brendan R. Hofman, 29, of Savanna, was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle. It crossed the centerline and collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Daniel D. Hoffman, 68, of Savanna.
