At about 8 a.m., Adam Conrad, 22, of Sandoval, was driving a Marion County Sheriff’s Department Transport van going north on I-57 near mile marker 84 when Conrad lost control of the van due to icy conditions on the road. The van crossed the median and entered the southbound traffic in the path of a semi driven by Donald Chambers, 46, of Springville, Indiana.
