A black 2020 Alfa Romeo driven by Joe Love, 34, of Murphysboro was westbound on Old Highway 13 just east of Wood Road. At the same time, a white 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Barbara Perkins, 45, of Carbondale, was leaving a private drive. The Toyota pulled out and into the path of the Alfa Romeo, according to Sgt. Ronald Stanton with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
