13-year-old juvenile crashed stolen car in a high speed police chase on Interstate 57 in Johnston City, Illinois
RUNAWAY JUVENILE ARRESTED AFTER HIGH-SPEED CHASE
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, which at one time, reached speeds in excess of 100 mph. The chase continued on Interstate 57, with the driver starting in the southbound lanes and then switching to the northbound lanes. He eventually failed to negotiate the I-57 exit at Johnston City and crashed. He fled on foot but was apprehended.
