The crash happened around 8:38 pm last night at the 18000 block of E. Gillis Road.

Craven was later released from the RCH. Jahnke was later transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford for treatment of a leg injury but was listed in stable condition.
Rochelle teen killed in vehicle crash
The crash took place a short time after 8:30 in the 18,000 block of East Gillis Road. A 2004 Jeep drive by 19-year old Emily Jahnke of Rochelle was traveling eastbound and left the north side of the road. The jeep then struck a RMU utility pole.
19-year-old Emily Jahnke of Rochelle collided with a utility pole. She and the front seat passenger, 19-year-old Anna Craven were ejected from the vehicle. The back seat passenger, 19-year-old Anna Speed, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Craven was later released from the Rochelle Hospital, and Jahnke was transported to St. Anthonys Hospital in Rockford listed in stable condition.
