At 8:05 p.m., Kathern S. Stafford was pronounced dead at the scene near the intersection of 61st Avenue and Colorado Street in Hobart, according to a statement from the Lake County coroner'€™s office. She had suffered blunt force trauma in a motor vehicle accident.
