More than 15 injured in Indiana bus crash

Indiana State Police say 16-25 people may have been injured in the accident, including students, parents and faculty.

The accident occurred at about 12:10 p.m. near DeMotte on I-65, when Dominique T. Small, 23, Terre Haute, lost the lid on her drink and spilled it on herself while driving a 2001 Kia southbound in the left lane.

"Sadly, several of our players and coaches were injured in the accident," Morikis said.

Everyone on the bus was taken to one of three local hospitals in Merrillville, Rensselaer or Kankakee, Illinois.
