Kansas City woman in intensive care after Gibson Co. motorcycle crash

The Gibson County Sheriff's Office says 54-year-old Christina Gibson of Kansas City, MO crashed into a guardrail on eastbound I-64 at U.S. 41.
Christina Gibson was traveling on eastbound Interstate 64 on a motorcycle when she crashed into a guardrail. She was flown to a local hospital for treatment of leg and pelvis injuries. She is in intensive care and will soon undergo surgery.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help

Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.

After 14 surgeries and alot of care I am doing fine and healing from my last surgery. I will be back on the bike soon. Thank you to Highway patrolman Cory Mauck the first responders and Run for the wall group. I also want to thank my husband and the CMA riders of Evansville, Indiana, medical staff and doctors. Bless every one for what part you played in my recovery.
