The driver struck a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction and narrowly missed a second motorcycle that was traveling behind the first one. The car ended up driving through the guardrail and into a nearby creek.

Police have not released the identities of those involved in the crash or the extend of the injuries of those taken to the hospital.

The motorcycle was headed westbound and the Jeep was headed east on County Road 1000 South in Southern Hendricks County just before 6 p.m. on Saturday.
One person is dead after an accident involving two motorcycles and a jeep around 5:45 p.m. Saturday in Hendricks County. Two motorcycles were driving west on County Road 1000 S. just east of SR 39 near the State Road 39 and I-70 interchange. An eastbound jeep crossed left of center and hit a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle in the collision was pronounced dead at scene and the passenger on the bike was taken to the hospital. The driver of the jeep was also sent to the hospital. The jeep went off road through a guard rail and into a creek.
