Driver arrested in fatal Union City, Indiana hit and run
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the vehicle involved fled the scene of the crash, but was located a short time later in the 600 block of North Union Street.

Witnesses advised that a fight had broken out and that the suspect had started to flee the scene by backing up in his vehicle erratically and at a high rate of speed. Witnesses say he then struck all three of the pedestrians at this time, and then continued backing until striking St. Mary’s Church. He then fled the scene.
