One killed in Charlestown head-on collision

A passenger in Searcy's car, 19-year-old Tabitha Prestigiacomo, Taylorsville, is also in critical condition. Another passenger, a child, was also injured in the accident and taken to Kosair Hospital. A passenger in the westbound vehicle, 64-year old Jean Dunaway, Charlestown, was killed in the accident. The driver, her husband Steven Dunaway, was transported to University of Louisville Hospital and is in serious condition. James Searcy, 30, Taylorsville, was driving eastbound on County Road 403 near Bethany Lane when his car struck a vehicle going westbound, according to a news release from the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
