I-70 fatal crash: Police investigate why semi hit Beavercreek van
The crash killed Finley and Brennen Bereda, ages 1 and 5, and sent their mother and driver Christina Bereda, 33, and sibling Jordan, 3, to hospitals in Indianapolis. Christina Bereda has been released from Methodist Hospital; Jordan was hospitalized at Riley Children’s Hospital.
Authorities ID I-70 crash victims
ISP on Tuesday said the Ohio mother was traveling with her three children westbound on I-70 and was slowing or stopped in traffic at 2:46 p.m. when a tractor-trailer from Grewal Transport of Canada, driven by 62-year-old Amritpal Singh of Quebec, Canada, failed to slow and struck the family’s van, police said.
