85-year-old Paul Pospisil was cited by authorities in Mount Vernon on Friday after Pospisil crashed into a parked trailer. The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Abbe Hills Road north of Mount Vernon. Paul Pospisil was driving a pickup heading westbound on Abbe Hills Road when he hit a parked trailer attached to another pickup. The driver received a small cut on his hand from the crash and denied to be treated at the scene. Pospisil was taken to the hospital via ambulance in non-life threatening condition. Deputies cited Pospisil for Failure to Stop within the Assured Clear Distance and a seat belt violation.
