Parked vehicle was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on Maple Street in Creston, Iowa

A hit-and-run collision Friday afternoon in Creston caused an estimated $2,000 damage, but no one was injured. Police say a 2009 Chevy Impala was parked on the side of Maple Street in the 1200 block, when it was struck by a 2016 Dodge Journey SUV at around 2:45-p.m.
