Oskaloosa Man Killed in Mahaska County Crash(link is external)

MAHASKA COUNTY, Iowa — An Oskaloosa man was killed following a crash in Mahaska County on Saturday. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 7 p.m. on Highway 92 three miles west of Oskaloosa. An SUV initially became disabled and stopped in the eastbound lane. After the two occupants of the SUV exited the vehicle, a pickup truck driven by 62-year-old Georgie Crews struck the rear of the SUV. Crews was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, according to authorities. The two occupants of the SUV did suffer injuries and are being treated at a nearby hospital.
