1 killed, 1 hurt in 2-vehicle wreck in Kossuth County

Authorities say one person was killed and another hurt in a head-on collision in northern Iowa. 
Scott Alan Baker, 49, of Fenton, was heading east on U.S. Highway 18 in Kossuth County when he crashed head-on with a westbound pickup Wednesday morning. Baker died in the collision, and the pickup's driver, Lavon Kruse, 55, was transported to a hospital. Kruse's current condition hasn't been reported.
