The incident happened on I-80 west of the Grand Prairie Parkway exit near Waukee. Officials believe the semi went into the median and slipped and between two bridges, landing upside down in Sugar Creek.
Workers spotted the crash just before noon, but officials believe the crash likely occurred early Wednesday morning.
