3 teens hospitalized after van crashes into tree, other vehicle on S.W. Western
Three teens were hospitalized late Monday morning after the van they were in crashed into a tree in central Topeka.
Three teens between 15 and 19 years of age were riding in a Dodge Grand Caravan Sport minivan on S.W. Western when the van ran into a tree. The impact of the crash caused the front end of the minivan to wrap around the tree. All of the teens were wearing seat belts, and their injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening. Police were told that the minivan experienced a mechanical problem that caused the crash.
