Investigators say Thacker was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Gary Thacker, 47, was driving an ATV on Callahan Road in Kimper when the vehicle exited the roadway, traveled over an embankment, and rolled over into a creek. The Pike County coroner pronounced Thacker deceased at the crash site. State Police are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
