Troopers report Billy McFarland, 52, of Mouthcard lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway, and over an embankment. McFarland was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Pike County Coroner’s Office.

Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post received a call at 6:25 p.m. reporting a single-vehicle collision had occurred on State Highway 194 East in the Stopover community of Pike County. A trooper from Post 9 responded and began the investigation.
