Interstate 75 shut down after multi-vehicle crash in Rockcastle County, Kentucky

Multi-Vehicle Accident Shuts Down 1-75 In Rockcastle County(link is external)
The Madison County Rescue Squad is reporting a major accident involving at least ten vehicles on I-75 near the Renfro Valley accident in Rockcastle County. The interstate is shut down near mile marker 62 heading northbound and southbound.

Witnesses say the interstate is backed up for several miles. Transportation cabinet officials say with traffic stopped, some plows are also stopped in traffic. KYTC trucks are trying to make their way toward the scene from the other direction to help clear the roadway so crews can clear the blockage.
