Semi carrying 60,000 pounds of fertilizer hit by train in Pulaski County

Somerset Pulaski County Special Response officials said they called the Somerset Fire and Pulaski Management to respond since the train’s tank cars, which were now on top of the fertilizer, were filled with alcohol.

At around 10 a.m, a semi-truck hauling over 60,000 pounds of fertilizer pulled in front of a train at the crossing off of Ky. 2227 entering the Warner Fertilizer property, according to Baker.
