Two killed in Garrard County crash

The Garrard County Coroner launched an investigation late Monday night after two people were killed in a crash outside of Lancaster. The coroner said Stephanie Lunsford, 32, and James Anthony Gaines, 33, were killed around 9:15 p.m. All four people were ejected, they say, and Gaines and Lunsford were pronounced dead on scene. Investigators said the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to go off of the roadway and up a large embankment. Two other passengers were taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
