Bacilio Salamanca, 66, Jose Otanendi, killed, two other people critically injured, transported to hospital, after a two-vehicle collision on Kentucky 80 near Russell Springs.

Officials are investigating a crash that killed two people in Russell County.

It happened early Thursday morning on KY-80, east of Russell Springs.

Bacilio Salamanca, 66, pulled into the path of a truck.

Salamanca and a passenger, Jose Otanendi, were not wearing seat belts, and both died at the hospital.

Two others were taken to UK Hospital where they're listed in critical condition.
