Pulaski woman dies in crash on way to church, other driver faces murder charge
“The flight nurse said she was calm and the police chief said she was calm. They were amazed at the peace around her,” Akers said.
1 Charged In Fatal Pulaski Co. Crash
Chief says he was going to charge him with DUI later that afternoon but didn't. Harmon was transported to Lake Cumberland and then taken to UK hospital. Chief says Harmon left UK Medical Center after a nurse told him that the woman died and left before the Chief could issue the warrant.
Sandra Drury, 67, was killed in a car crash on her way to church. The other driver, James Harmon, 21, was transported to UK but left the hospital when he learned of Drury's death. The Science Hill police chief arrested Harmon at his home Thursday. Harmon was arraigned on murder charges Friday. He pled not guilty.
