Ricky Duncan, 54, killed, after his car rear-ends another vehicle at a stoplight in Louisville. No other injuries reported.

One man is dead after an accident involving three vehicles in south Louisville.

According to the Jefferson County Deputy Coroner, Ricky Duncan, 54, was driving a Ford Escort at Outer Loop and Third Street around 7:30 a.m. Friday when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the back of a Jeep Patriot that was sitting at a red light.

The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to hit a Honda Odyssey that was also waiting at the light.

Duncan was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported. The Louisville Metro Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
